A bridge is a movement for training the back that is part of Convict Conditioning.


In the most common iteration of the bridge, the trainee lays on his back bending the knees to bring the feet close to the glutes and placing the hands back on either side of his head. He then pushes off with both arms and legs to bend the body in the shape of a bow and putting the back in a position of extension. The trainee then lowers himself back to the ground.
