Eric Michael Clanton is an Antifa member and university professor who became famous for allegedly attacking a man with a U-shaped bike lock at a Berkeley political rally. He was arrested and held in custody in lieu of $200,000 bail at Berkeley Jail.[1]

Clanton has an M.A. in Philosophy from San Francisco State University, and a B.A. in Philosophy from California State University, Bakersfield. He currently teaches at Diablo Valley College.[2] His identity was found out by 4chan's /pol/ board.[3] /pol/ then found and hacked into his Amazon account, using it to purchase fourteen bike locks and copies of Culture of Critique and The Camp of the Saints, which were promptly sent to him using the site's one-day shipping feature.
